Data deletion

You can ask at any time for your data to be deleted from PlutonAi. How depends on how it got there: by messaging a business, or by connecting PlutonAi with Facebook for a business.

If you messaged a business

  1. Write “delete my data” (or «fshini të dhënat e mia») in the same chat, on WhatsApp, Facebook (Messenger) or Instagram. The request goes to the business's staff.
  2. Or email the business, or us at hello@pluton.studio, with the business's name, the channel (WhatsApp, Facebook (Messenger) or Instagram) and the profile name or phone number you wrote from.

The data is deleted within 30 days and the deletion is confirmed in the chat or by email.

Deleted: the chat (messages, photos and files), your name, username, ID and number.

What may remain:

  • Orders, as long as the law requires the business to keep them, for example for its accounts.
  • Backups, which roll off on their own within 12 days.
  • OpenAI may keep the parts of the conversation it received for up to 30 days, then deletes them itself.
  • Copies in Meta's apps: the business deletes the chat from its own inbox, and you delete the copy on your phone.

If you connected PlutonAi with Facebook

For business administrators who connected PlutonAi through Facebook Login for Business:

  1. On Facebook open Settings & privacy → Settings → Apps and websites or Business integrations, choose PlutonAi and remove it.
  2. Meta sends us the deletion request itself. We delete the link between your Facebook account and PlutonAi (the ID Facebook gives PlutonAi), and Meta shows you a confirmation code with a link to its status.

The business's connections (Page, Instagram, WhatsApp number) belong to the business, not to the person who connected them: they stay until the business disconnects them in PlutonAi or closes its account. Your panel account (name and email) doesn't come from Facebook: to close it, ask the business owner or us.

Request status

After a request from Facebook you get a confirmation code. You can see its status at https://ai.pluton.studio/data-deletion/status/CODE.

Automatic deletion

  • Chats are deleted automatically 12 months after the last message.
  • Messages you unsend on Instagram are deleted from PlutonAi straight away.
